On April 9th, with a solemn event, “Axioma Metering“ opened its second factory in Kaunas FEZ, where the first factory was already opened in 2019. With this expansion, the production capacity of smart devices grew from the current 2 to 3 million meters per year. The new factory, built next to the already operating factory, more than doubled its total area and now reaches almost 17 thousand square metres.
Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Lithuania Marius Skuodis, Kaunas district vice mayor Antanas Nesteckis, President of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists Vidmantas Janulevičius, as well as representatives from Universities and Colleges, partners, colleagues, clients and collaborators, visited the event and congratulated the organisation on this impressive achievement.
The company’s CEO, Ignas Vosylius, thanked all the guests and mentioned that the “Axioma Metering” organisation’s aim is not a nice number in the Excel sheet at the end of the year but a goal to contribute to the solutions of global ecological problems, which more and more countries in the world have to face daily. The W1 smart water meter produced by the organisation helps save water and empowers people to become more aware of water resources and their global scarcity.
Minister of Transport and Communication of the Republic of Lithuania Marius Skuodis, while congratulating the organisation, shared how happy every time it is to hear the name “Axioma Metering” as a manufacturer of quality products while travelling around the world. He also expressed the support and encouragement of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to continue to achieve its goals and ambitions.
Lithuanian metering devices produced by “Axioma Metering “promote the transformation of water supply companies. Companies can reduce waste in water networks from 30 to 9 percent or less. This product not only leads to more efficient use of water but also allows suppliers to offer better prices to customers. The organisation’s exports account for over 90% of all company sales. The Lithuanian manufacturer supplies most water metering devices to Italy, Germany, India, Scandinavia, Chile, and Israel households. Counters have also been installed for residents of Vilnius.
Over the past year, Axioma Metering has experienced significant growth, with the number of employees reaching almost 500. Looking ahead, the company has ambitious plans to employ more than 300 people, a testament to its commitment to continued expansion and innovation.
