AXIOMA METERING IMPLEMENTS A PROJECT FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION FUNDS, WHICH IS TO PROTECT THE UNIQUE OF THE PRODUCT TECHNOLOGY

Axioma Metering has developed a high-precision ultrasonic water meter - Qalcosonic W1 This meter measures water flow using ultrasonic technology. The ultrasonic method is one of the most rapidly evolving methods in various fields, as it can detect even the slightest changes in any system and react to them immediately. The product's main advantages are high measurement accuracy, sensitivity, and wide possibilities of remote measurement data transmission. UAB Axioma Metering, using the funds of the European Union, implements the project “Patenting of a New Ultrasonic Water Flow Measuring Device”, No. 01.2.1-MITA-T-845-01-0212. The project budget consists of EUR 6,270.00, of which the company allocates its own funds for financing - EUR 313.50. By taking advantage of financing opportunities, the company seeks to protect the technology for inventing the Product by obtaining protection for the invention in the United States under the Paris Convention. Patent protection for the invention of a new ultrasonic water flow measuring device would ensure that other manufacturers of similar products do not copy and produce a similar product. The project also aims to contribute to the priority areas set out in the Baltic Sea Strategy Action Plan, namely 1) removing obstacles to the development of the internal market in the Baltic Sea Region; 2) exploit the full research and innovation potential of the region; 3) Implement the Small Business Act by promoting entrepreneurship, strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises and making more efficient use of human resources.

The project also contributes to the Action Plan for implementing the Lithuanian Innovation Development Program 2014-2020 for 2014-2017, approved by the Minister of Economics of the Republic of Lithuania on 16 July 2014. by order no. 4-491 “On the Implementation of the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Lithuanian Innovation Development Program for 2014-2020 for 2014-2017” (hereinafter - the Action Plan). It is this project that aims to promote the launch of new products.
