On May 23, the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) gathered for its annual convention, during which it announced the winners of the organization's "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year" competition. In 2023, seven companies in two groups were recognized as export leaders according to their size.
Axioma Metering, along with three other companies, was recognized as "Lithuanian Exporter of the Year 2023" in the category of large companies (at least 250 employees). As the head of the company, Ignas Vosylius, says, every employee contributes to this award, and such recognition only shows that the issue of saving water resources solved by "Axioma Metering" in the world is also visible in our own country.
The Speaker of the Parliament, Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, congratulated the award-winning companies and noted that there have been many uncertainties in recent years, and working in such uncertain conditions has become a great test of resilience for different sectors of the economy and society as a whole. "So far, despite the challenges, the industry seems to have done well to show resilience and take advantage of the opportunities that have opened up." According to all parameters: the contribution to the state's GDP, the share of production - it can be said that the results are good," said the Speaker of the Seimas. At the same time, she emphasized that export is the axis of the Lithuanian economy and the guarantor of a prosperous country. And the export of high-value-added products is precious.
LPK president Vidmantas Janulevičius underscored the importance of Lithuania's status as an exporting country. He emphasized that good export indicators are not just a matter of pride for individual companies but a crucial factor in the overall health of the country's economy and export sector.
"It is especially pleasing to companies that are looking for new paths and global markets and can compete in those global markets and achieve impressive results," said the president of LPK.
In 2023, Axioma Metering exported more than 90 per cent of its production to more than 60 countries worldwide. Having increased turnover by 2.2 times last year, the organization produced over 1 million counters.
