The Lithuanian Engineering and Technology Industry Association (LINPRA) is an independent self-governing business organisation that has been operating since 1993 and currently unites about 140 members - manufacturing companies operating in metal, plastic, electronics and electrical engineering, lasers, automotive industry, and other fields, as well as technological service providers, educational and scientific institutions, and other interested organisations.
LINPRA represents the interests of the Lithuanian engineering and technology industry at the national and international levels and promotes the integration of companies into global value-creation chains. It also aims to increase the competitiveness and internationality of the sector’s companies through its complex activities. It helps companies implement digital transformation, update processes, innovate, develop the export of goods and services, promote the production of high-value services, solutions, and goods, and provide high-quality training for specialists and employees’ competencies; also express the voice of the sector’s companies, problems, and expectations in matters of the business environment; and organise networking.
By uniting the leading organisations in the Lithuanian engineering and technology industry ecosystem, LINPRA plays a crucial role in guiding the sector through the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) wave. Its efforts are instrumental in creating progress, added value, and competitiveness in our country.
“Axioma Metering” became an official member of this association in the spring of this year and, together with other Lithuanian engineering and technological organisations, will try to contribute to the economic well-being of the country, trusting the activities of the LINPRA association, which is aimed at the comprehensive strengthening of this sector.
As the head of our organisation, Ignas Vosylius, aptly puts it, “LINPRA is one of the most active and purposeful associations in Lithuania, which brings together professionals from our industry.” Our inclusion in this community is a testament to our commitment to the engineering and technology industry and a significant step forward in promoting Lithuania's name in this field.
