With a clear mission to change the habits of millions of consumers all over the world, thus saving water for future generations, this time, Axioma Metering takes an even further step in saving the planet's resources and intends to install solar power plants on the roof of its building.
The company prepared the project "Use of renewable energy resources", with a total value of 260.350 Euros. This project was partially financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. In total, the Fund covered 120.901 Euros. The project should be fully completed in July 2025.
The project will contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources in final energy consumption while at the same time encouraging the greater use of renewable energy resources in the industrial sector. In this way, Lithuania's impact on climate change will be mitigated, the problem of air pollution and efficient use of resources will be solved, and dependence on energy imports will be reduced. During the project, a solar power plant will be installed, allowing the company to use the produced electricity for its own internal needs and reduce its electricity consumption from the grid. It is planned to produce about 273.9 MWh of electricity per year.
